Period

The 2012-2013 Membership spans two full calendar years: from 1 January 2012 to 31 December 2013.

Such change, from annual to biennial, will give more room for engaging our members in various interactions and activities throughout one membership cycle.

Applicants can send in applications at any time of the first year. However, both the membership fee and the expiry of membership remain unchanged.

Member Rights

The membership represents that the member has been officially confirmed by CSTAlumni as belonging to the Chu’s lineage.

  1. The membership does not include the voting right.
  2. Members are welcomed to put forward suggestions on propagating Chu’s Wing Chun,
      and participate in organising activities for such purpose.

Member Benefits

1. Membership Confirmation Letter, Membership Card and Membership Directory on Web:  Once accepted, the applicant will be issued with a Membership Confirmation Letter and Membership Card.  His/Her name will also be published in the Membership Directory on the CSTAlumni website.
2. CSTAlumni Facebook Group:  Members who have facebook accounts can join CSTAlumni Facebook Group exclusive for members only. Apart from updated news and information, members can participate in discussions in the community.
3. Products:Products relating to Chu’s Wing Chun, including The Book of Wing Chun volumes, will be made available for purchase. Members are entitled to special discounts.
4. CSTAlumni Wing Chun Classes: CSTAlumni runs weekly local Wing Chun classes (long-term). Overseas members who are interested to join for a short period are entitled to a member discount upon the overseas price.

How to Renew

Biennial Membership Fee: HK$350

 

Documents to Submit

1. A completed Renewal application form;
2. If you want to update your photo in our record, enclose one, sized at 40mm x 50mm, preferably in electronic format (jpg).
3. Membership fee payment, by Cheque for local, by Cashier Order for overseas (see note 1 below), or by Paypal (also accept credit card; add HK$17 handling fee, i.e. HK$367 in total) for both.

How to Submit (for Overseas) (note 1)

1. Post the completed application form, the recent photo (or send electronic file), and the Cashier Order to the CSTAlumni’s address; or
2. Post the completed application form, the updated photo if any (or send electronic file) and indicate payment by Paypal; payment notice will then be sent to you via email.

(note 1): Payments must be in exact HK$ amounts finally received by CSTAlumni: payment by Paypal will be added with HK$17 handling charge; Cashier Orders should be drawn on the Hong Kong branches of the drawee banks; CSTAlumni will not bear any cost incurred in bank handling processes and in currency exchanges; inadequate payments might affect the processing of applications.

Once accepted, the applicant will be:

1. Issued with Membership Confirmation Letter and Membership Card
2. Included in Membership Directory on Web 2012-13
3. Admitted to CSTAlumni Facebook Group exclusive for members only
